Rawacala Tropical Rainforest
Nestled near the Paraiso Rainforest Hotel, this vast tropical rainforest spans over 10,000 hectares and is a haven for countless bird species. Santa Bárbara Cloud Forest
Situated close to Lake Yojoa, Santa Bárbara National Park features a lush cloud forest with a cool, misty climate that fosters unique birdlife. Montane Forest of Cerro Azul Meámbar

Honduras Birding Paradise Tour
Day 1: Transfer to Paraiso Rainforest Hotel.
- You'll be transported to Paraiso Rain Forest Hotel, located near the Rawacala Rainforest Private Reserve.
- Enjoy birdwatching in the tropical rainforest with opportunities to spot species like Smoky-brown Woodpecker, Slaty-tailed Trogon, White-crowned Parrot, and more.
- Relax and take in the beautiful landscape of Omoa Beach.
Day 2: Birdwatching at Rawacala Rainforest followed by a transfer to Cerro Azul Meambar National Park (Panacam Lodge).
- Explore trails within the 10,000-hectare Rawacala Private Nature Reserve, observing birds such as the Slaty-tailed Trogon and Hook-billed Kite while enjoying views of Omoa Bay and Puerto Cortes.
Day 3: Birding at Santa Barbara National Park (Fuente de Vida Project):
- Located near Lake Yojoa, this private reserve provides birdwatching opportunities while supporting the local community.
- Spot unique species like the Resplendent Quetzal, Emerald-chinned Hummingbird, and Amethyst-throated Hummingbird.
Day 4: Birding at Lake Yojoa Wetlands & Cerro Azul Meambar National Park
- Visit the Eco-archaeological "Los Naranjos" Park, where you can see various bird species like the Rufous-tailed Hummingbird, Painted Bunting, and White-winged Becard.
- Later, move to Cerro Azul Meambar National Park for more birding in the afternoon.
